On Tuesday, Eve had a cardiology appointment in Springfield. All went well. They actually managed to get a blood pressure reading on her (has never been done before while she was awake). They then did an EKG (which she cried through) and an ultrasound (which she cried through half of). She just gets so scared. Anyhow, the doctor told us that everything looks perfectly normal and that we should come back in 2 years (or if she has a major illness/regressions). The heart is a muscle, and thus can be affected by her mito.
Yesterday, we also picked up her new DAFO's. These are ankle-foot orthotics made by Cascade. They have two parts to them and are very cool. I will post pictures this weekend. Eve has no anxiety at the orthotists, btw.
The PT has written the letter of medical necessity for the special needs stroller and now the waiting begins.
